Infographics
This is an example of an internal piece of marketing that was created for the HR department to use in their recruitment efforts.
A spreadsheet of technical data was provided to me, and this is one version of the final design. Multiple options were created for interactive, web and print formats.
Technical Guidebooks
This variety of short technical guidebooks (<30 pages) was created to support business development efforts and help tell a story about the company's capabilities.
Each project was designed with interactive elements for the digital version and also produced as a printed booklet.
Blog Articles
Managing corporate blogs brings together my love of translating complex concepts into a format that can be consumed by a broader audience.
This is one example of several that I have had the opportunity to produce.
Here there is an imbedded video, original icon graphics, and a more consumable format that allows for the article to be skimmed, and quickly consumed.

Publishing Experience
These are two samples of the award-winning publications that I was in charge of while I was an Art Director for MidAtlantic Media.
Left: This issue won a Design and Editorial Award, issued by the Parenting Media Association (PMA) · Excellence in Cover Design & Table of Contents for Frederick's Child Magazine
Right: This issue of "Remember" in The Baltimore Jewish Times, won an overall design award for the featured article and cover design, issued by MDDC Press Association.
New Business Website
Starting your own business can be scary and difficult. But the branding and web design part doesn’t have to be! Bob came to me before he “went out on his own”, to discuss making the leap. So I knew what he was trying to achieve.
Bob’s exceptional reputation of amazing landscape projects, and satisfied clients kept him busy. He just needed some branding, and a website to help keep that reputation going.
His logo design is clean & simple, so his website needed to be as well. Original photography highlighting his projects was incorporated to each page.
Advertising Publication Layouts
Incorporated existing project photographs, and new body copy for a variety of monthly advertising publications.
Social Media Marketing
Created a variety of original advertising campaigns that inform and intrigue the product’s user for a local Insurance Broker.
Informative Graphics
A variety of print and interactive information “fact sheets” for a non-profit energy consulting organization. A rough version of body content was provided by the client. Photo selection & adjustments, copy refinements, graphic design and production was completed for multiple “fact sheets”.
Brochures
A non-profit client was looking to market their idea to potential investors and public officials. They needed an oversized brochure to highlight their technical information, and vision for their ideas. An offset-fold, three-panel brochure design was used on this project.
Celestial Peel & Stick Wallcovering
This commissioned project for York Wallcoverings was to create a series of unique, “classic design” inspired, interchangeable wall coverings for their growings line of peel & stick wallcoverings.
Designs were presented with original sketches included, as well as dieline files created so the products could go straight to production.
Leave Behind Brochure
A “general” brochure was created for this client to use at trade shows, and leave with potential customers at proposal meetings. Highlighting the company’s capabilities using original photography was a large part of the design. A clean and simple layout that complimented the photographs of their work was also meant to be a feature of this 4-panel, double-folded brochure. Design and production were all part of this project.
Presenting Technical Information
Creating visuals graphics that translate technical information for a public meeting or industry conference is something that I enjoy. While I worked at a engineering firm that specialized in transportation engineering & design, this was a common occurrence. Whether it be for a client such as Costco, or Maryland Department of Transportation, of the USDOT. Visuals that were not technical, and easy to comprehend where needed in order for audiences to relate to the presenter.
Mobile Tradeshow Displays
Multiple variations highlighting the company’s capabilities were created so they could be used at multiple events, worldwide. Whether it be a public information meeting for a new development, a college-recruiting trip, or a engineering conference. The displays, and all of the branded accessories that accompanied (brochures, folders, tote bags, water bottles, table clothes) all fit into a small reusable shipping container.
Newsletters
A brand is more than just a logo - your brand should also include your business values. Creating a quarterly newsletter that informed their clients and peers. Incorporating a duotone design that was oversized to fit a variety of content, yet able to be folded down to a mailable size was important to making this piece deliverable to the intended audience.
A digital, interactive version of the newsletter was also created and placed on the company’s website.
